Gogle supports assorted advanced operators, which are query phrases which have special meaning to Gogle. Typically these operators modify the search in some way, or even tell Gogle to do a totally different type of search. For example, "link:" is a special operator.
Several of the more such popular operators use punctuation alternatively of phrases, or do not require a colon.
